Do You Love Cocktails?
The Rani hoped to introduce
A form of scrumping to the game,
Allowing those who'd won much fruit
To purloin even more. For shame!
She posted a new picture of
Her growing robot family.
Roddy confused a gameshow host
With someone who wrote poetry.
Deced Proposed to reduce the
Influence held by Influence,
Which should make the Game end sooner,
Rather than several months hence.
Elden seemed to think that the Sec
Should never be allowed to win.
As ever, much debate ensued.
It put deced's head in a spin.
They switched to the issue of how
To ensure that the Sec did not
Have to run consecutive terms
As Sec does have to do a lot.
The simplest way to do it would
Advance the timer on the bomb.
When Elden was informed of this
It caused him to lose his aplomb.
Other things discussed included
How 'average' should be defined,
Could Game One be ruled illegal
If a Player was so inclined
As to challenge how things had been
When no Rule said they should be so?
"Not saying isn't saying 'not',"
Replied deced, "So I'd say 'no'."
Elden then got confused about
Which Proposal he should make first:
One was more urgent - however,
If things took a turn for the worst
The other would be of more use.
He made his choice, but stayed unsure.
The Rani hinted there'd be bribes
For Players who chose to vote 'for'.
Roddy made mention of the need
To make the Rule on Answers less
Exacting, so no-one would have
To be so precise in a Guess.
Deced raised a few objections,
The Pilot kept on saying 'fab',
So Elden said it even more
As a desparate Lemon-grab.
Deced had another idea:
To make love an integral part
Of Player interaction and
Scoring. (That'll break someone's heart.)
It started as a daft idea,
But soon became a Proposal
(NB: though it is about love
That's not the same as betrothal.)
Roddy said to establish a
Distinction between love and Sec's
Obligations to Junior
(Confusion could have bad effects).
Deced argued with Junior.
The Rani thought of a new theme
For all Proposal names in March.
Elden went to bed. Did he dream
About PTomic? Only he knows.
"Vote for, or else you'll pay the cost!"
The Rani warned, to no avail.
The votes were tied, and so she lost.
