317 'An Appealing Proposal'

Removes 119 311

A Player may invoke Judgment on a statement's truth. Judges are selected randomly, thus:

If the statement challenges the legality or correctness of a Judgment, it's considered by a panel of Judges (twice as many Players as considered the challenged Judgment, or all Players, whichever's fewer). Otherwise, one Player (not they who invoked Judgment) is Judge.

Within 24 hours of selection, each Judge may give a verdict of 'true', 'false', or 'undecided'. If the same verdict is given by a majority of eligible Judges, that's the Judgment. Otherwise, it's inquorate, and selection is repeated.

A quorate Judgment considered by all Players is not under appeal.

This precedes Rule 289.
