289 'Rabbit Law'

A Judgment is under appeal for 24 hours after being delivered. If a Judgment is called on its legality or correctness within those 24 hours, it remains under appeal until the Judgment called on it is delivered and not under appeal.

A Judgment is stable if it has not been ruled against in a currently stable Judgment, and is not under appeal.

Judgments govern play and the interpretation of Rules if and only if they are stable. Where there is conflict, each Rule precedes all stable Judgments and earlier stable Judgments precede later stable Judgments.

This Rule precedes all other Rules, except those governing appeals or stability of Judgments.
